Zoomarine tickets from Albufeira – prices 2026, what is included and what is extra
Updated September 17, 2026 · 6 min read
Zoomarine in Guia is twenty minutes from Albufeira, and with 3,992 reviews at 4.6 stars its entry ticket is the second most-reviewed land attraction sold from here, behind Slide & Splash. It is also the offer where the gap between the marketplace price and the park’s own price is worth understanding before you click.
What the ticket includes
Park entry. That is it. The booking page lists the entry ticket as included, and puts the animal tour and hotel pickup among the things that are not. The Dolphin Emotions programmes, the restaurants and anything in the shops are extra. Pets and glass are not allowed in.
Our listing shows the ticket from €28.90, which matches the park’s own low-season online price for an adult. Free cancellation applies up to 24 hours before.
The park’s own 2026 prices
Zoomarine publishes two price periods. Low season: 12 March to 31 May and 1 October to 28 November. High season: 1 June to 30 September. In December, January and February the park is closed – if your holiday falls there, the question does not arise.
| Ticket | Low season online | Low season at the park | High season online | High season at the park |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Adult (11–64), 1 day | from €28.90 | €32 | from €34.90 | €41 |
| Junior (from 1 m tall, up to 10) and 65+, 1 day | from €18.90 | €22 | from €26.90 | €31 |
| Adult, 2 days | from €39.90 | €44 | from €45.90 | €53 |
| Junior and 65+, 2 days | from €29.90 | €34 | from €37.90 | €43 |
Two things follow from that table. Buying at the gate is the expensive way in – in high season it costs an adult six euros more than the park’s own online price. And the two-day ticket is the quiet bargain: eleven euros more than a single day in high season, with the second visit valid for up to ten days after the first. With children who fall asleep at four in the afternoon, that is the difference between racing the park and enjoying it.
Children under one metre tall enter free, but they must be registered. The junior price runs from one metre to the age of ten; from eleven a child pays the adult rate.
The dolphin programmes, and what they require
The Dolphin Emotions experiences are not in any entry ticket. The park’s own conditions set the ages:
- Encounter, 60 minutes, from 6 years.
- Premium, 90 minutes, from 8 years, and the participant must be able to swim.
- Exclusive, 90 minutes, from 8 years, swimming likewise required.
Prices for these change with season and availability and are not reliably published; ask the park directly rather than budgeting from a figure you found in a forum. What is worth planning is the age wall: with a five-year-old, none of the three is bookable, and telling a child that at the gate is a bad afternoon.
The honest part
Zoomarine keeps dolphins, sea lions and birds for presentations. Whether a family wants to spend a day at a park built around that is a decision the park cannot make for you, and neither can we. What we can say is that it is a real alternative and not a worse one: wild dolphins off this coast are seen from a boat, at a distance, with no guarantee at all – the odds and the seasons are in dolphins from Albufeira, and the trips themselves under dolphin watching.
If what your children actually want is water slides rather than animals, the comparison is with Slide & Splash, which is the bigger water park and has no animals at all.
Practical points
- Getting there: no transfer is included. Guia is on the EN125 about twenty minutes from Albufeira; the park has its own car park. Transfer firms sell the run, and it is worth it only from about four people.
- A whole day, not half. The park mixes an aquarium, presentations, a water area and rides, and the walking distances are real. Plan around the presentation times when you arrive.
- Sun. The queues and the water area are in the open. For sun protection with small children, ask a pharmacy – the shade is thin and the afternoons in July and August are long.
- Height limits on rides exist but are not published per attraction; if a ride matters to your child, ask at the entrance.
Who should not book it
- Anyone expecting to swim with dolphins on this ticket. You are not; that is a separate booking with its own age limits.
- Families travelling between December and February. The park is shut.
- Anyone who dislikes marine mammal presentations on principle. There is no version of this park without them.
- Anyone with only half a day. The ticket costs the same at 3 p.m. as it does at 10 a.m.

The short version
A full-day park for mixed ages, cheapest bought online in advance, dearest bought at the gate in August. Measure the children – one metre and the eleventh birthday are the two lines that change the price – and decide about the dolphin programmes at home, not in the queue.
