Slide & Splash from Albufeira – what the ticket covers, and what it does not
Updated September 17, 2026 · 6 min read
With 6,371 reviews and 4.6 stars, the entrance ticket for Slide & Splash is the fourth most-reviewed offer in our Albufeira listing – and the first one that is not a boat. It is also not in Albufeira. The park sits at Vale de Deus 125 in Lagoa, roughly 25 kilometres west, and the ticket includes no way of getting there.
What you are actually buying
The listed price is €32 per person, and the listed duration is seven hours. That duration is the park’s day, not a booked slot: the ticket is valid for one day, you arrive when you like and leave when the children are done.
What the ticket includes is short: entrance and lifeguard services. That is the whole list. Not included are the massage and fish spa, the photo service, food and drinks, the waterproof tattoos and hair braids offered from June to September, and anything bought in the shop. Cabanas are rented separately at the park, for groups of four, six or ten.
The park allows you to bring your own food and drink, with two conditions in its own rules: nothing in glass, and no food or drink taken to the slides and pools. For a family of four that is the single biggest saving of the day.
Whether the ticket is cheaper than the gate
This is worth doing properly, because the answer is not the one the booking page implies.
Slide & Splash publishes its own 2026 prices. The low season runs 1 April to 30 June and 1 September to 31 October 2026, the high season is July and August.
| Ticket | Low season | High season |
|---|---|---|
| Adult (11–64), at the park | €32 | €35 |
| Adult, online at the park’s own shop | €28.80 | €31.50 |
| Junior (from 1 m tall to age 10), at the park | €24 | €27 |
| Junior, online at the park’s own shop | €21.60 | €24.30 |
| Senior (65+) | like Junior | like Junior |
| Under 1 m tall | free | free |
So the €32 marketplace ticket matches the adult gate price in low season and undercuts it in July and August – while the park’s own online shop, with its ten per cent discount, is cheaper than both. What you get in exchange for the difference is the cancellation window: the booking page allows free cancellation up to three days before, which is a fair trade if your week is still unplanned and you are watching the forecast.
Children are the bigger factor. The junior price applies from 1 metre tall up to the age of ten; from eleven your child pays the adult price. That is a detail the booking page does not spell out, and with two children close to that line it changes the total by more than twenty euros.
The height rules, slide by slide
These are the numbers that decide whether a day here works, and they come from the park’s own rules page:
- Most body slides: from 1 metre tall.
- Ring slides: between 0.90 m and 1.20 m only in a double ring with an adult. A single ring requires more than 1.20 m.
- Big Fall, the capsules: from 1.25 m.
- Jacuzzi: from 1.40 m.
- Tropical Paradise, the children’s area: up to 12 years.
- Children Foam Slides, locally the Brandinhas: up to 1.20 m tall.
- Under-12s may not enter without an adult.
Read that list with your own children’s heights in hand. A child of 1.10 m is too small for the single ring and too tall for the foam slides, which leaves the body slides and the double ring with a parent – a good day, but not the one on the poster. Below one metre, the park is free of charge and almost entirely off limits apart from the toddler area.
There is also a swimwear rule, which is in the park’s rules for a reason: anything worn instead of trunks or a swimsuit must be tight lycra with no metal parts. Zips and buckles damage the slides.
Who should not go
The booking page names three groups it considers the activity unsuitable for: pregnant women, people with claustrophobia, and non-swimmers. The claustrophobia entry is not decoration – several of the big slides are enclosed tubes.
Two more from experience rather than from the small print. If your children are all under a metre, you are paying full adult prices for a day in a toddler pool; Zoomarine or a beach will give you more. And if you only want half a day, the ticket does not know that: the price is the same whether you stay two hours or seven.
How it compares with the other parks
| Park | From | Stars | Reviews |
|---|---|---|---|
| Slide & Splash (Lagoa) | €32 | 4.6 | 6,371 |
| Zoomarine (Guia) | €28.90 | 4.6 | 3,992 |
| Aqualand (Alcantarilha) | €23 | 4.4 | 508 |
| Krazy World (Algoz) | €15.95 | 4.3 | 459 |
Slide & Splash is the pure water park of the three big ones: more slides, no animals, no fairground rides. Zoomarine mixes a water area with aquarium and presentations and works better for mixed ages and younger children. Aqualand is the cheapest of the large parks and considerably less reviewed. Which one suits which age is the subject of Albufeira with children, and what a week of this costs in total is in what a family holiday in Albufeira really costs.
Getting there
There is no transfer in the ticket. By car it is about half an hour from Albufeira on the EN125 or the A22; transfer firms sell the run separately, and the prices they quote per car make sense only from about four people upwards. If you are relying on a bus, confirm the times with the park before you book the ticket – the connections are seasonal, and the return leg in the late afternoon is the one that fails.
The season begins on 1 April 2026, and the park opens at 10 a.m. In April, and again in late October, the water is a serious consideration: the park is outdoors, the pools are not all heated, and a cool, windy day with a shivering seven-year-old is a short day.
The short version
A well-run water park with a lot of slides, sold at a price that is only a bargain in July and August – and even then the park’s own online shop is cheaper. Book here if you want the free cancellation up to three days before. Measure your children first: one metre, 1.20 m and 1.25 m are the lines that decide what the day looks like.
All the land-based options are listed under things to do in Albufeira; if the forecast turns, the indoor alternatives are in a rainy day in Albufeira with children.
